Microneedling

Cosmetic procedure that involves pricking the skin with tiny sterilized needles. The small needle pricks cause the body to make more collagen and elastin, which heal your skin and help you look younger.

Skin Conditions Microneedling Treats:

-Minor scarring related to aging, wounds, and acne
-Large Pores
-Stretch Marks
-Fine Lines and Wrinkles
-Sun Damage
-Reduced skin elasticity

What To Expect: Before we begin the Microneedling treatment, the area being treated will be cleansed and properly prepped. We will apply a topical numbing cream to ease discomfort that may occur. Microchannel serum will be applied to the area while the microneedling pen utilizes small needles to prick the top-layer of the epidermis, generating new collagen and skin tissue for smoother, firmer and more toned skin.

Recovery & Results: Essentially, there is little downtime associated with Microneedling, but most feel some tenderness afterwards. This sensation may feel like a windburn or sunburn because of the micro trauma caused to the dermal layer. Every client is different, but it may take days or weeks to heal, depending on how deep the needles pierce the skin. It is common to see additional redness on thin areas like the neck. You should avoid direct sun exposure for at least 48 hours and wear SPF daily. We highly suggest waiting to apply makeup until the next day and that you avoid places that could have a lot of germs such as swimming pools, lakes, rivers, and oceans for at least a week after your treatment.
